Hi, I'm uploading a screen shot from a log taken during a race which caught a noticeable rich glitch which is more evident on the 4th gear. Its pretty much a Group N B16A setup with a free flow exhaust and a CAI. You can see couple of glitches on 4th gear, the one at 15.5 sec stays longer than the other and it was happening pretty often along the long straights when on top gear. I hope I'm right ruling out a ignition issue as its going rich rather than lean, has anybody here experienced similar issues and will be of great help any help in the right direction to solve this problem.
Regards,
Zakie

Re: Rich Glitch
Without the calibration and a datalog showing the issue it is nearly impossible to speculate.

Re: Rich Glitch
Where specifically in the datalog are you seeing a problem?

Re: Rich Glitch
At that point the VTEC pressure switches off for a second. You may be loosing oilpressure for a split second which is causing the load to rise on the ingine and it starts reading primarily from one cell that has more fuel in the fuel table.
Re: Rich Glitch
Thanks for tip, didn't check VTP on the log since it wasn't enabled on the map anyway. Just wondering how com its looking for the VTP signal without me checking the box for that option and I have checked the one for disabling spool error check.Spunkster wrote:At that point the VTEC pressure switches off for a second. Re: Rich Glitch
Why would u disable the VTP switch then?
There is no advantage of disabling it. Image VTEC with not enough oil, not a good idea.
