Wondering about the operation of the Ign Controlled Idle ( in 'parameters', under 'idle' ). Are the numbers in the 'RPM' boxes actual rpm numbers?, or the amount of RPM's different ( - or + ) from the minimum idle speed?
I've found no info on this in the search engine, and the 'Idle help' description is very vague.
Seems this would be a comprehensive way to stabilize the RPM's at idle when loads come on and off-
If not, how does this output function?
Any light on the subject would be appreciated.

Re: Ign Controled Idle "logic"
Anyone have any experience changing the numbers in these parameters and having positive results?
Anyone?
Anyone?
Re: Ign Controled Idle "logic"
They are actual RPM values. The ignition is either advanced or retarded to help control the idle.
Re: Ign Controled Idle "logic"
Thank you for the reply. This makes sense. On the stock maps that Hondata puts out, it seems that the numbers are manipulated in such ways that the ign controlled idle does not operate. Probably "safer" that way, but strange not to see more maps with these values altered. Thanks again for your time and response.
