input method?

Post by aceman187443 »

I am using a stock p28 map, that is a map for a 1.6 litre engine and my engine is a 2.3 litre. When asked "displacement" i would input the equivalent of in cc the the 1.6litre engine under old and under new i would put the cc equivalent of my 2.3 litre engine, correct?

What if the ecu is a p06 and you load a stock p28 map. You have a 2.3 litre engine. The p06 ecu matches a 1.5 litre (1500cc) and the p28 basemap matches a 1.6 litre (1606cc) engine. What is the old cc? New cc is of course the 2.3 (2295cc).

The ECU does not matter. IT all depends on the calibration you load.
