Can someone take a look at my street tune?

Post by PR8urvtec »

Could someone please take a look at my street tune and let me know what they think. I started with a friends dyno tune but he doesn't live close to my location. The tune was from the same setup. It's tuned for 12psi and he had 440cc injectors. This is my first time tuning and am taking it slow. I have been pulling a lot of fuel out it seems like. I have not touched the ignition timing. Would it be wise to copy a stock ignition map over and go from there?

Engine

Stock B18A
T25 (SR20)
6psi
550cc R/C injectors

I have a lot of datalogs that I will post with cal. file.

I haven't had a chance to bring the car out just yet. I loaded the map last night though.

One thing I am having a problem with is that, on a cold start my car will not idle rich until it warms up. I have it in closed loop and it will still idle 14.6 - 15.1 a/f. I don't know why it's not adding more fuel when cold and leaning out when the engine starts to warm up. The car starts up fine but just runs lean. When I read the tuning guide in the tech articles, it says I should be seeing ~13.1 a/f on a cold start and it should lean out when the temp gauge starts moving. Any ideas? I can send you a datalog when I get to my laptop on my lunch break.

Thanks again for your time.
