just installed my ITBs in yesterday and am trying to get a decent idle, but when ever i leave it running for maybe a minute or two it starts surging? once it warms up if I shut the engine off and restart the motor will idle ok then starts to surge again. Also before this i had regualr RBC with cold air and it idled really quiet. but now it sounds like I have an open header.. its realll loud? i do have a small exhaust leak where my header meets the testpipe but its not that noticeable with the rbc/cai setup.
setup:
k20a2
52mm hayward itb
Map is running off haywards built in pocket in one of the runners.
RC 440's
completely stock block and head
the calibration I used was the one that comes with kpro - stock k20a2 tuned 440RC 110 ocatane. I got a modified one off here i think for the same map but for pump gas.
ill attach the data log if anyone has any idea whats going on

Re: Itb surge after idle is warm or?
ok so threw the ibs back on today to test, and there wasnt any surging with a different map.. or maybe i just had a leak somewhere. But anyways now when i idle its running super lean.. like 25-30 AFR lean! which means ill be needing around 1800 fuel just on idle? that sound correct?
how i figured that was when i wired in the TPS it was backwards first time around and the AFR was reading pretty rich at 11-12 AFR, but the ecu was thinking the TPS was fully open at this point so it threw it table all the way right giving it 1900ish fuel. this was pretty stable and idled decent, as well as started up fine.
but once I wired the TPS correctly 0% at closed throttle this is where it goes really lean. While I was datalogging at one point it said to add fuel all top row mostly about 50%! so i added roughly 30% and it didnt go down much. I dont want to be running that much fuel at just idle thats just crazy unless i have to. also at this point when I try and open the throttle plates the response is very slow, i could open the plates wide open and the engine wouldnt do anything until a couple seconds later then it revs up?
please anyone with experience with ITB's let me know whats going on.
