Trouble with flashpro install

Post by Anolan »

Have been trying to install the flashpro software version 1.4.1 with no luck. I have uninstalled the norton antivirus and that did not work either. I keep getting the same error messages. It says that the flashpro data is incorrect and to re download but that doesn't work either. Have called twice and posted on another forum and nobody else seems to understand. Have a brand new computer running windows 8 also. It gave me a desktop flashpro link but when clicked on it just gives the same error message. What am I doing wrong? Have tried to download directly from your site under downloads and tried many times off of the startup disc provided with the flashpro.

Uninstall all previous versions of FlashProManager. To be sure, check and delete the Program Files/FlashProManager directory (could be Program Files (x86)/FlashProManager).

Download and install from http://www.hondata.com/downloads.html

It opened today says version 1.3.7 at the top, but has all 2012 maps. Under control panel when I went to uninstall it is listed as version 1.4.1 though. I've locked the flashpro to my car today and tried to select the reflash map but not doing anything when I click it

You may want to read through the help file so you have a better understanding of how everything works.
