I'm trying to install the drivers on my laptop and it reads "D2XX Recovery PID" as soon as I plug in the USB cable. I went to device manager and tried to update/reinstall the driver but it wouldn't let me.
I'm using windows xp service pack 2. Any ideas on how I can install the driver for kpro?

This is not an error we have ever seen. IT appears there is a conflict of some sort on your laptop. You may want to read some of the information found from a google search of your error message:

Also try following the instructions for proper uninstallation and resinstallation of the K-Pro drivers by opening the K- MAnager software and going to Help and Contents, Troubleshooting, then USBTroubleshooting.

Yeah I already did the search downloaded those drivers, still nothing. I installed and reinstalled kpro a million times already. Same thing with my windows XP on my laptop. I tried it on a computer at work and got the same error message. Also try following the instructions for proper uninstallation and resinstallation of the K-Pro drivers by opening the K- MAnager software and going to Help and Contents, Troubleshooting, then USBTroubleshooting.
I just got back my kpro yesterday. The other kpro board I had was bad so I got it replaced. As soon as I got it yesterday, I installed it to my lap top and got that error code.
I'm wondering if hondata tested my ecu out before sending it out back to me, to make sure everything was alright.
