Kpro, Computers see's Ecu as Serial usb and wont update

I have tried everything on earth to get my pc to connect to my kpro but it just wont. It does not see it as Ecu in Device manager, But as a serial usb connection. Even when i manually try to install drivers it will not says cant find any drivers, I point it to the kmanager drivers folder. When i try to update through kmanager it just gives update error, This is on Windows 7 64 bit. When i use an Windows xp pc, when i try to update thru Kmanager it says Files updated but still says offline, So i reboot and it says Usb files no updated when i open it back up. It also shows up as serial usb in windows XP. Can someone please help im pretty good with computers but im stumped, been trying to force them to install but cant,

What is the serial number of the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

i was able to finally get drivers to manually install thru device manager and it shows kpro ecu now, but when i open kmanager it says usb drivers not installed and offline ??

So i got it working... Called hondata and they said mine was bad and to send it in... I was like no way....I installed a reallly old version of Kmanager and it recognized everything right away and Said i was online and usb drivers were installed then i updated to newest version and everything works fine. Thanks for telling me my kpro was bad

I am having a similar problem with mine.. sometimes it recognizes it, sometimes it doesn't. sometimes i get an error, i can unplug the USB and plug it back in and itll be fine.. turn the car off to do adjustments and turn key back on and it will say no driver, or error again, fiddle with it, and then it'll just randomly recognize it and work perfect.. My ECU is less than 3 months old and has already had to go back to CRSX/hondata once already for a faulty (Brand new) ECU. i'll have to try the old version, but not sure if i can being my daughter board is a v3.
