Dear,
I have been driving my euro civic R EP3 with kpro for two weeks now and everythings drives well seriously good map and high power + high gas response.
But my question is can a car consume more oil due to a badly mapped or too aggresivly mapped hondata? It was using before but i believe its more now, maybe just because i drive a lot more in vtec now :)
Also when i connect the hondata to my laptop, most of the times it gets bluescreens, unless i wait to connect it for 5 mins.
My mods are:
-Injen CAI
-Hondata kpro V3
Tuned at exztra in Belgium.
I can post an attachment of the map if u want.
Oil consumption
Re: Oil consumption
Tuning alone will not cause oil consumption. Damaged to the engine by poor tuning may cause more consumption though.
The bluescreen issue is more than likley a problem within windows or a corrupted driver file. From Help, About, what version of software are you using?

Re: Oil consumption

Are you willing to check my map if it is tuned well if i post it here?

Re: Oil consumption
Download the most recent beta version, and make sure you dont' have any antivirus software running.
You can really only tell if a calibration is well tuned by putting the car on the dyno and seeing how much power it makes and make sure the AF ratio is correct and there is no detonation.

Re: Oil consumption
It makes 220 hp on the fly 180 at the wheels and 210 nm torque on the dyno no detonations AF is 13,1 in open loop
