Not getting fuel

Post by krxdc5 »

Serial Number - 05005870
ECU - 37820-PRB-A07
Kmanager 3.1.2
2002 Acura Rsx Type S
Stock k20a2 block and k20z3 head with k20a2 internals w/ an Injen Short Ram Intake
ECU was used in my K Crx. Same kpro with the previous owner before I bought the Crx. And I don't have the original ECU for my vehicle (RSX).

Kpro ran perfectly fine in my crx.

Couple weeks ago I've put a new motor together. Went to start it up and fuel pump wouldn't prime. Kpro connects correctly to kmanager with no issues. I changed the Main relay, fuel pump, and put new grounds on the correct grounding locations. And still have the same result, fuel pump no priming. Also timing is correct. And also using 02 type s engine harness. Using the correct spark plugs as well. I've uploaded the calibration correctly and used other calibrations that were equivalent. I also tried another kpro and still the same issue.

Try the ECU i a known working vehicle. If it works, then you know you have a problem in your car some where.

Will do.
If it's not the ecu, any suggestions what else I can check? I'm guessing that it might be something electrical related.

Check everything you have touched since it was last working.

I've tried my kpro on another rsx and worked perfectly fine. I've checked everything that was last touched. All the fuses are good. Changed the fuel pump relay too. Would grounding E1 wire work?

You should talk to whoever made the engine harness for this vehicle.

It's the stock harness that is from my rsx. I'm using the harness in my rsx

If it works fin in another RSX, then it is not the ECU. There is obviously a problem with the wiring or a mechanical problem in only your vehicle. Check all grounds and fuses, then start checking it wire by wire.
