PLX Wideband wont connect with S300

Post by njphonda »

Ok so heres the deal. I have a boosted D16z6 with the S300 installed in a P28 by kaszenspeed. I recently bought the PLX DM-6 & SM-AFR combo to go with the S300. I hooked up the PLX (white 0-5v to D10), (Grey 0-1v to D14), power, ground and the gauge works and reads the A/F ratio fine, right at 14.7. Then I opened s300, went to parameters, closed loop, changed the wideband input source to D10 and still Im only reading like 1.0 a-f on the display in s300. I backprobed the D10 and D14 pins and im getting good voltages, why am I not reading on the s300? I have to be missing a step in the setup or something. Can someone please tell me where to go to set this up properly.

Go to Options, settings and make sure you have the units set to AF and not to LAmbda, then go to the sensor list and double click on AF and make sure it is also set to AF.

I don't have any white wire on my SM-AFR (bought installed on my car), only a black wire and gray.
Where do I must connect the White wire on the SM-AFR plug please?

My gray wire is connected like this

You only need the white wire if you want to use the simulated narrowband output.

First I would like to get my AF on my display. I connected the gray wire to D14 Pin

Then use closed loop.

Thank you

your conversion table is wrong if you are using a PLX.

Please take a look at the PLX wideband wiring instructions: http://www.hondata.com/techplxwiring.html
