Fuel ratio not moving, O2 sensor replaced :(

Post by civvyt-r »

Hi,

I have installed my KPRO and uploaded a base map. Attempted to do some datalogging but noticed my air fuel ratio does not move from 14.70.....ever. I replaced the primary O2 sensor and inspected the wiring of the plug connector it connects to (all seems ok) but no change!! (and at great expense for the sensor :( grrr)

Could I have a faulty KPRO? any ideas?

Thanks!

Details:
EP3 civic type-r 2003 european spec
KPRO model : european (will update this later along with version of software - i'm away from the car at the moment)
Modifications: J's racing header 4-2-1 with Decat (still using both sensors), 3" unsilenced J's racing exhaust system K&N typhoon induction kit,

KPRO purchased two months ago, used from another owners club member.

The Euro vehicles have a narrowband o2 sensor, so the AF will always read 14.7:1

To tell if your vehicle is running in closed loop, look for the short term fuel trim changing.
