Hi I have been having major problems with my s300 lately. I have a civic eg with a built b20 vtec setup. The s300 was tuned on e85 producing 150kw at the front wheels. Everything has been running fine for around 3 months until I decided to purchase the hondata CPR kit and had it installed. Everything worked fine for about two weeks until one day It would not start. I noticed that the CEL was on and the red light on the hondata was also on and the car ran rough and and sometimes random movement of the ecu or harness would cause the car to switch off. I have now changed it back to distributer setup and runs rough with a sold red light on the hondata and solid CEL I am also unable to data log or update map. I have tried another socketed ecu and still the same problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: S300 problem please help
What happens when you upload your calibration to the ECU?
Re: S300 problem please help
The red light is on so i am unable to upload any maps.
Re: S300 problem please help
From Help, about, what version of software are you using?
Re: S300 problem please help
software version 2.1.1.0
Re: S300 problem please help
Click on the online menu and choose Erase ECU. This make take a little while, when it finishes, close the program, reopen it and load a fresh calibration from New Calibration and try uploading it.
Re: S300 problem please help
I eraced ecu on the first try there was a message "ecu did not erace" only on the second try the ecu eraced. The red light on the hondata turns green but the CEL light is still on. When I upload a a working map the same thing happens when I try to start it it runs rough and the light turns back to red.
Re: S300 problem please help
I have just noticed that when I erace the ecu successfully and the light turns green and load a map and runs fine then I switch the car off and reverts to the old map with the red light. So I think it's the s300 not holding the settings after switching off
Re: S300 problem please help
I have now tried another hondata and bingo problem solved so it's defiantly a s300 problem
