ELD D10 wideband setup with OBD2 car.

Post by integrags »

I have an OB2 car that has an ELD. Now I use the D10 to run my wideband, so the ELD in the fuse box is not connected to the ECU anymore.

At this point will the ELD create any resistance or voltage drop between the alternator and battery; eventhough the ELD is no longer connected to the ecu?

Is it better to now run a wire straight to the battery from the alternator with an inline fuse?

Not having the ELD connected will not have any adverse effects.
