Hello, one of our customer bought the whole 05-06 RSX hondata kpro kit from the US
The problem is, it's for a 05-06 JDM Integra type R which run with a PRC ECU and the ground sensor coming from the VTC solenoid does go back to the stock ECU
The PRB coming from Hondata has VTC - and VTC + connected through a resistor, I was wondering if that's the only modifications Hondata does for the PRB 02-04 RSX ECU to run on the 05-06 ?
If yes, I'm guessing if I'm removing this resistor the VTC will work fine on the ITR ? (At the minute it doesn't)
Is the Kpro board untouched ?
Thank you,
Romain
PRB for 05-06 RSX
Re: PRB for 05-06 RSX
No, this will not work on that vehicle. The 05-06 RSX kit is for North American vehicles only.
Re: PRB for 05-06 RSX
I didn't use the "kit" but just the ECU which I know is plug and play on our JDM DC5 (I'm not using the harness conversion, it actually doesnt work with it anyway as the 05-06 RSX doesnt share the same wiring as the 05-06 JDM ITR)
Everything's working except the VTC which stays at 0 on idle and goes at -2deg as soon as the ECU should send a signal
I'm guessing if I'm removing this resistor the VTC will work fine on the ITR ? (At the minute it doesn't)

If you rather to send me the informations by PM that's fine by me, just need to know if thats the only modification done as if yes I could go backward to use that ECU on the DC5

Re: PRB for 05-06 RSX
That ECU will not work on the vehicle you have. You will be much better off selling that to someone with an north american 05-06 RSX and then getting the propper ECU for your vehicle with is just a standard K-Pro.
