Which Wideband to select?

Post by 05typeR »

Hi,

I received my Kpro III today and all went smooth once I got it registered (i think the site was down which was giving me trouble) anyway. . .

I have already installed in my car a Prosport wideband gauge ( http://prosportgauges.com/wideband-air- ... White.aspx )

which wideband do i select from the analog input list?
Or
can i just select which ever and change the name?

My analog output harness instructions are:
BLACK - Engine Ground
Brown - Wideband Output (0-5v)

Do I connect like an AEM 30-2310, the sensor ground to one of the Kpro ground wires or body ground?
Then the signal to the kpro RED wire (A0).

Just want to be a 100% before connecting.

Do not connect the gauge ground to the KPro. Only connect something to the KPro analog ground if the gauge has a dedicated analog ground. To minimize voltage offsets the gauge ground should go to the master ground on the intake manifold.

the gauge already has a ground and is grounded also in its current state its working as it should in the car.

its an analog harness that comes from the UEGO controller that has the three wires

1: ground
2: wideband 0-5v
3: narrow band 0-1v

I would only connect the analog ground if it is a floating, analog only, ground.

Try it without the ground and if it works properly then it is not needed.

Ok, I contacted the guys at ProSport and they said I can put the ground the a good known ground and that should be all.

I did that and the gauge on the laptop didnt read when i used custom so i selected AEM 30-4100 and it reads but its off compared to the gauge by 1 (gauge reads 14.7:1 the laptop reads 13.7:1)

How do i know which gauge set up to use?

or should i use the linearity scale that came with the gauge and input values in the Custom Input: Voltage/Value boxes?

only two boxes so which values to input out of the 33 lines i have?

the completely lean and completely rich?

0.00 Volt = AFR 10:1
4.99 Volt = AFR 19.98:1

it won't allow me to input --> :<--
