CEL code 1
I have P72 manual ECU with S300 v1 installed (ser# 13053). I get CEL code 1 randomly coming on while driving (does not seem to be related to driving style or engine temp). I have a PLX wideband SM-AFR with a DM6 gauge. In the Parameters setup under 'Options' both Closed Loop operation and Disable O2 Heater are checked. Under 'Conditions' the Narowband target voltage is set to 0.51 volts and Use wideband input for closed loop operation is checked. Wideband Target Voltage is set to 2.34 volts. Under 'Wideband Lambda' the Wideband input source is set to B6 AN2. The wideband output from the PLX SM-AFR is pinned to the ECU at B6. When I shut the motor off and restart the CEL is no longer on and may not turn on again for another hour, day or week, then comes back on.
Any input as to why CEL code 1 is showing up? Have I missed a setting in Smanager (version 2.0.0.0)?

Re: CEL code 1
post your calibration and a datalog showing the problem.

Log of CEL code 1 and the CAL file. Engine is an H22A, sleeved, 12:1 pistons, Eagle "H" beam rods, BC Stage II N/A cams and BC flat stainless valves, 94 octane pump gas.

Re: CEL code 1
Update: For one week I have been using the "Narrow Band" signal from the PLX O2 sensor. No CEL so far. I will now change back to the "Wide Band" signal to see if the CEL light comes back on. Does the log file contain any useful information that might indicate the cause of the CEL light coming on?
Re: CEL code 1
Can you download the most recent version of software and make new datalogs using that software. The datalog you posted is from a older version and does not tansfer the wideband settings properly.

Re: CEL code 1
Latest version of software is now installed. I will post a new log as soon as I can. Thank you.
Re: CEL code 1
Make sure you also upload your calibration again to the ECU using the new version before making the datalogs.

Re: CEL code 1
Finally captured a log. When I was logging the CEL would not come on. As soon as I was not logging the CEL would come on (Murphy's Law).

Re: CEL code 1
Here is an additional log file of the problem. This file may be a better file to look at. The CAL file is the same as the one posted above. The "Check Engine" light comes on at 6minutes, 42 seconds into the log.

Any useful data in the log file or do I need to be capturing another file with the check engine light coming on.
Re: CEL code 1
Try putting your rate of change settings in closed loop back to the default values....open a stock calibration and see what they are.

Re: CEL code 1
Default values set. Will test and monitor for the next week to see if that eliminates the CEL code 1.
