Low Speed fuel table question
Low Speed fuel table question
Hi, should the lines on my low speed fuel table be overlapping at any point? Here's a pic of my table

Re: Low Speed fuel table question
No. Your fuel table looks ok. A little smoothing on column 1 and 7-9.

Re: Low Speed fuel table question
oops, I think that was from a datalog. Here are the low/high speed fuel tables from the tune. I'm getting a rough idle and super lean reading (17.2-8) and am told the fuel table may be the reason for it. Does anything look out of the ordinary out of these two?
notice the low numbers on the 1st column of the high speed table. Is that normal?
this is on a B16 cp 9:1 pistions, precision 1000cc injectors, GSR cams

Re: Low Speed fuel table question
no, i have stock gsr cams in a b16 on low compression cp pistons rated at 9:1. Running an aem uego that's reading fine under WOT but at idle and cruise im getting super lean reading of 18+ and a rough idle which i initially though was due to the lean idle. or maybe the rough idle is whats causing my lean issue? that I do not know and i'm sad that i can't enjoy my car because i'm afraid of blowing my motor. i don't think its a sensor because my aem 3.5bar map sensor has maybe a few hundred miles, bought it off a guy I trust in Tennessee. I tried 2-3 diff tps and same result. Another reason I don't think it's a sensor is cuz i'm not throwing any codes what so ever.
I know it's a late response but if you can help I would greatly appreciate it!!!! lol
I also tried manually turning up the fuel pressure, as suggested by someone who I thought knew about cars but I don't think he really does, and no success. still super lean and rough idle.

Re: Low Speed fuel table question
howdy, two pieces of advice for you. Column 1 needs to be much lower from what I can tell. near the hondata stock tune for a b16/b18. reason being is the computer needs a point in which it will flawlessly kill injectors upon decel. the ecu needs a "range" to work with. second off, i noticed that your ignition at idle looks to be around 20 degrees. that may be a little too excessive for a low compression engine. you may have better results, and a more consistent rpm + a/f at idle if the ignition is closer to " maximum brake torque"( but not at it) , maby stock ign idle settings, or less. changing your ign setting will also change your a/f ratio. I found my 11:1 b18c liked 17.5 degrees of timing at idle, but I set it at 18 degrees for a little reserve,, IE if cooling fans kick on. good luck and happy tuning, hope this helps.
PS, always check the basics, could also be a vacuum leak- would only be present at idle, or part throttle cruise, wouldn't notice it at WOT.
Check parameters, ect...
