hello, just got my new/used s300 on friday.. hooked it up this afternoon, loaded up a stock itr map.. tweaked it, watched the datalogging for a bit then unplugged everything
fast forward 5 hours later.. i plug it in, start smelling burning and the red light is on, no fuel prime, solid cel and solid green and red..
i may have touched the cable to the case when inserting it into the port, but would that cook it??
looks like the ic2 chip has some brown around the soldiering and it was extremely hot to the touch with the car in the on position..
what do i do next.. i want to boost my car but it seems like i just keep running into one roadblock after the next..

oh and i meant that i unplugged the usb cable and drove the car around town for 5 hours then went to plug the usb back in to play around with it some more.. is the sequence of cable in, then key on important? i cant remember if the key was on while i plugged the usb in..

Take a picture of what is burned, make sure it is high quality and in focus.
