kmanager data log issue

Post by Jblock »

Just purchased a 03 type S installed with kpro.. I downloaded the newest and only available update, 3.1.1, and planned on doing some data logging, and also immobilizer light kill. BUT, I am getting an error with the datalogging. "The calibration in this ECU is from an older version of kmanager. 3.0.0 Please upgrade the ECU befor datalogging from this ECU"

Do i need to find beta 3.0? Or will my ecu need to be upgraded? And does that consist of a simple flash? Im not too terribly concerned with the datalogging, the car runs perfect, but I would like to kill the immobilizer light without bringing it to the dealer or unplugging things. After searching i could not find the beta 3.0.. I really hope I can put a stock basemap with the upgrade 3.1.1 on it and be good to go, but I dont know. Please let me know! thanks

The message means that there is an older calibration in the ECU and it will not datalog before the calibration is upgraded. To do this, upload the calibration to the ECU again.
