I am getting the same error. I also cannot open any cals. This was my first install, and I have uninstalled it. Should I try to reinstall v1.3.1, or is it ok to just download v1.2.8?
Thanks for any help.

In regards to the recent addition of "Added long term fuel trim min/max to closed loop parameters" - does this adjustment allow us to virtually "disable" long and short term fuel trimming on MAF/MAP hybrid calibrations by making the values "0" and if so are there any significant concerns by doing this?
My FN2 is running a hybrid MAF/MAP tune at the moment and the fuel tuning is virtually flawless but the short and long term fuel trimming is affecting my tune the longer I drive and have been waiting for the option to disable fuel trimming and hoping this new option finally allows me to do this.
Just wanted to be 100% sure before I commit to making changes to my tune that I'm correct in saying that changing the values to 0 will esentially disable short/long fuel trim whilst in closed loop.

Then use explorer to check the update.exe file in your User directory, and see if the file runs directly.

I tried , this file is zero length ( 0 bytes ) and i cant open it, same error. I disabled a-virus and reinstalled manager , same result.
