MAP doesn't read boost, only vacuum

Post by shaunrsxtypes »

2002 Acura RSX Type-s K20a2 6 speed
JRSC with 5 lb pulley
70mm Throttle body
440 RC Injectors
DCRH, Test pipe, Catback

Absolutely no vacuum leaks. Idles at 21.9 in hg at 750 rpms. Boost gauge jumps to 5 pounds respectively. TPS has been rescaled and double checked. Watched and recorded map readings and noticed that the MAP readings only read from 24 in hg to 0.1 psi and nothing higher. Noticed that it doesn't compensate for fuel either(only adds fuel to .1 psi while im boosting 5 psi). There are no MAP glitches or drop outs either. Need help with situation please.

Have you relocated the MAP sensor per the instructions?

Well that makes more sense now. Do the MAP relocators come with the supercharger assembly? Is this a block that bolts the MAP on top while supplying a vacuum line to one of the runner ports? Sorry, pictures don't really show much from what I see.

Contact Moss Motors for the MAP relocator. It depands on what kit you purchased as to whether it was included or not.
