ECU for 04 Civic Sport 1.6 VTEC?

Does aybody know if there is currently a chip available for an 04 plate Civic Sport 1.6VTEC?
What kind of power gains would i be looking at, and would I require any additional engine mods to make this chip work?

edit: I am also considering NOS, so would need the option of using this in conjunction with the hondata.

Can you tell us the engine code, and what market the vehicle is from. If the vehicle is not a mainstream US or JDM model you may need to post photos of the ECU and connectors.

I was just about about to post the same question. A friend of mine has this car and it is a d16v1 with i-vtec and 110ps. I'll try to post some pics of the ECU connectors.

Can you tell us the engine code, and what market the vehicle is from. If the vehicle is not a mainstream US or JDM model you may need to post photos of the ECU and connectors.

I can help to enigma about this question.

This model is from Turkey (assambled in UK, its a EURO), it use same engine with standart hatchback 2004 euro hondas. D16V1 is the engine code, the chassis is EP2 almost same with EP3 with some minimal diff.

The diff between the sandart HB and the Sport model is only the accessories. All other is same. No vtec or vtc in this motor but you already know this.

d16v1 is the engine code and IT IS i-vtec. I'll try to post the ECU and connectors soon.

I now the d16v1's civic sports are not I-VTEC, they are just VTEC II. It means no change of cam angle or VTC.

If it is i-vtec, i wanna see the car. Please send an url.

You may be right. I have not seen the engine but some civics here have i-vtec stickers right from the dealer. This is why I assumed they have VTC. They are VTEC for sure however.

So, is there any new information regarding a possible civic 1.6 sport reflash? I'm from Greece and i have a civic sport. I'm aware of at least 3 more persons who are looking forward to a reflash from hondata for this engine. As the other members have mentioned, the engine is the D16V1 (obd2) SOHC v-tec II. Could i have an answer from someone from hondata? Is there something i can do to help you find out if you can support my car? I would be glad to help.

Hello ,one more happy owner of a Civic Ep2 with the D16v1 engine and i would to ask if you have any plans to do something for this car!
Come on guys do something to help us to gain more HP!!!!

EDIT: I'm from greece and i know that many owners of Civic EP2 want to do something to have some more power!

Great. Thanx a lot! Not exactly what i expected from hondata, but anyways. I know, since D16V1 won't make you a lot of money, why bother?
