S300 Troubleshooting

Post by Infamy213 »

I think im having issues with my s300 every time I try to turn the key I get a solid red light and I have to wait for it to turn green so the fuel pump kicks on and im able to start my car. The guy who installed and tuned my s300 told me that since im running a obd1 its takes about a minute to a minute and a half for the cal to load. But it takes up to 10 minutes in order for me to get the green light so i can start my car i've taken the ecu back to guy already and he gave me another ecu and it will work fine as in as soon i turn the key i get the green light under a minute but that only last for maybe two weeks. Im currently in virginia and im about to leave to california but I have the calibration file on my laptop, but I dont where to take it to troubleshoot this situation. is it the ecu? the s300 itself? Any info will be greatly appreciated thank you

Try your ECU in a different vehicle and see if the problem persists. This will help you determine if it is a vehicle related problem or something in the ECU.
