Hi,
Could really use some help, since flashpro does not have nitrous control, I was thinking of using the VTEC solenoid or the VTEC oil pressure switch 12V to trigger a relay to activate the water methanol pump (or a nitrous solenoid).
Typical relays have around 135-160 mA current draw, do you think that this would overload the ECU VTS (or oil pressure switch) driver?
Should I use a relay with a build in diode?
In theory this would be a very simple system controlled by the VTEC parameters.
PS. I don’t want to use an external controller if I can avoid it.
Thanks
Rog
Nitrous/water methanol workaround
Re: Nitrous/water methanol workaround
I would recommend against this as it is not designed for this and may damage the ECU.
Re: Nitrous/water methanol workaround
Thanks, I figure this would be the answer but I had to ask.
Could you do something similar to the boost control on ECU/flashpro and provide an internal ECU VTS crosstalk to a unused 12V driver and give us nitrous/water methanol control?...
Cheers
