I have a p28 s300 with a built in OBD2a adaptor.
Car is currently running and according to the Hondata manual D12 on the OBD1 (EGRL) is used for analog 1.
On the OBD2a D9 is the EGRL channel so I have had a 0.1uF capacitor inserted into C42 on the board.
Have tried wiring up the sensor according to Hondata instructions but am not getting any reading.
Do these ecu's use this channel?
Any help would be appreciated.
I have set the settings in the Smanager, do I need to enable the sensor or should it be getting a signal?

The built in adapter harness does not have this circuitry. YOu will have to connect it directly to the ECU circuit board at the correct pin.

Thank you very much Spunkster.Spunkster wrote:http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/ecuconnectors.htm

So I guess I'll have to trace the circuit back or find the D12 pin location and solder a wire in place is this what you are saying?

Spunkster sorry to be a pain but can you tell me which pin I need to solder onto? I realize it is D12 but could you post a picture for me perhaps?Spunkster wrote:Correct
Thanks in advance

Spunkster I just did a continuity test from D9 OBD2a to D12 on the board and I got a signal.Kiwi_racer wrote:Thank you very much Spunkster.Spunkster wrote:http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/ecuconnectors.htm

Is there something else missing?

If you have continuity then it should work. Make sure you have the the necessary components for D12 to work. http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/an ... ghtsub=d12
