kpro l.e.d. lights red instead of green not working

Post by malikk20 »

hey i was hoping someone would be able to help me on here.

I have 2 kpro ecus. when the first one didnt work i purchased another one to rule out a possible wiring error on my part, my car has run mint for over a month now with 1 of my kpros and im finally getting around to trying to fix the second one so i can sell it to make my money back.

Issues:

L.e.d. light on the ecu is red not green and when i plug it into the laptop it does not recognize it nothing happens.
The car cranks for days but no fuel...can't here a prime.
When i purchased the kpro used the previous owner started up his own car in front of me with that same ecu and we drove around then unplugged it and it went strait to my hands.
The ECU was stored in my room for 4 months no humidity or high/low temperature changes so i really doubt anything could have been damaged. I finished building my car a month ago which is why i never got to check it earlier.

Both krpos are PRB ecu's and the imobilizer was turned off when the guy sold it to me.

Please let me know if there is a solution to my issue.

thanks,

Malik

I am trying again now, updating device manager does not work. green l.e.d. is on as well as a red one in front of it on the hondata chip on the ECU. No relay click when i turn key to on position.
ecu shows up in my device manager but not in my computer nor in my kmanager
