2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
Hi all. i am new memeber in this forum and this is my first post. I have a 2006 honda s2000 japan engine fitted onto my F3 car and i am having some issues with the Vtec. My car is equipped with a Flash Pro but unfortunatly i cant find the Vtec parameter page in the manager. any help would be much appreciated. it looks like my Vtec is not engaging at all
Re: 2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
Click the Calibration button at the top of the window, you will see VTEC listed there.

Hi Mate, i did infact but it doesnt specify the paramenters for the vtec like vechile speed and ECT.

Re: 2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
if you have a look at the help topic it specifies vehicle speed and ect thats why i was confused. maybe its not applicable for my engine, and is there a way how to check if the vtec has engaged apart from the engine performance?

Re: 2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
also i dont have a speedo connected, could it be that this effects the vtec?
Re: 2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
The VSS must be conected in order for vtec to engage.

Re: 2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
Thanks for the info. since i dont have the original gearbox i will build a circuit to simulate the VCC sensor. Under sensors there is one icon named "Vtec Spool", does this normally come on when vtec is engaged please? Sorry to ask so many questions but i am new with this Flash pro thats why and thanks again for your help.
Re: 2006 S2000 Vtec parameters
VTEC Spool is the VTEC solenoid and it is what activates VTEC.
