Primairy 02 sensor error code after Kpro install

Post by Vtequila »

Hi i am Jochem from Holland and driving a JDM Honda Integra Type-R 2002

I recently installed my Kpro PRB ECU '02 about 2-3 weeks ago and uploaded the next calibration:

Itr-k20a

This calibration gives me the best A/F ratio (around 14,5) with the current modifications I have on the ITR. The problem is, that since I drive with Kpro it regularly emits an error code. This is the Primairy oxygen sensor code, still need to write it down because a friend of mine helps me out with his laptop. I could order a new lamda sensor (Primairy) right away but if this does not correct the problem and still keeps giving error codes then im still down with it..

I can tell that when I start the engine the Primairy 02 sensor starts recording after 15 seconds, from this point I can see voltage in Kmanager, is this normal or do I have a semi-wide-defective lambda sensor? After checking out various forums and topics I still didn't found my original problem. I am looking for clarity before I am sure that I should go buy this expensive 02 sensor.

Who has experienced this before and can tell me what I should do?

Regards,
Jochem

Without the error code, the calibrations and a datalog showing the problem it is nearly impossible to speculate.

I will have the error code by tonight and saved a cal + kdl on my computer.

A friend of mine helped me out with his laptop and he has the error code(s) saved up on his laptop.

Tonight I went out testing with an OEM ecu to see if I would get any error code(s). Drove for like 20+ minutes and didnt got any..

So this problem remains a mystery for me. Or is the Kpro more accurate than the OEM ecu with error codes when it sees that the lamda sensor is almost defect ?

You still have not posted the calibration and a datalog showing the problem.

Everything looks fine in that datalog and it shows no errors.

Im thinking of just renewing the 02 sensor, would be the best imo.

Problem is solved after I bought a new lambda sensor and fitted it.
