Switched 12v feed for boost controller
where are most people taking there 12v feed for their boost controler from?
Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
Switched 12v from the fuse box is best.

Engine bay or incar? is there any polarity of the solenoid directional, or will it work either way and do you splice the diode on literally on too each wire coming out the solenoid. Thanks
Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
THe under dash fuse box. There is no polarity on a solenoid. Do not use any diode with the solenoid.

Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
Ok thanks, but how come there was a diode supplied with the solenoid?
Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
It must be an older solenoid. We now no longer recommend using the diode.
Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
Damnit i worked hard putting the diode in, y do u not recommend it anymore?
Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
It interferes with the resolution you get from the solenoid.
Re: Switched 12v feed for boost controller
So you mean NO more diode for all solenoid?Spunkster wrote:It interferes with the resolution you get from the solenoid.
