S300V2 Problems

Post by wanabgts »

Hey guys, First time posting on here but I have been working the s300s for a long time now. Im having an issue I have not ran into before. This is the third v2 I have installed and everything has gone great up untill this problem. While doing a startup calibration on a car I got a window that I believe said that the Hardware needed updated, and not to turn the car off. I hit ok, and in twenty minutes or so absolutely nothing happened on the loading bar. After a few more minutes of nothing happening I eventually keyed it off. Now I have no lights on the s300, and I can connect, but cannot upload or download and datalogging does not function.

I know he socketing or ecu is not an issue as I put the module in my personal ecu and had the same problem, mine when back in and worked great.

I have the most recent software version as well, and have checked for any obvious damage to the unit itself.

Any help would be great, Im thinking I need to just send it in and get another on order.

Thanks,
Zack

What is the serial number on the s300 board, inside the ECU? What is the version of software from Help, About?

The serial number on the board sticker is 20012. The software version is 2.0.0 on the help/about menu. I have used it successfully on the last two v2's I have installed.

I ended up having to downgrade the customer to s100 to get his car out the door. I will get another car in and send the info ASAP.

Thanks,

Yup - Had the same issue - "Firmware" update took 30 minutes; after which it asked for another firmware update; very disappointing and frustrating. Be good if there is some response from Hondata.

Can you post the serial number of the s300 you are having a problem with and with it connected go to Help at the top of the software and click on send support information to Hondata. Put a detailed description of the problem as well.
