Any base maps? ANy general guidelines for ignition tuning?

Adding timing down low is what I was already thinking. The question is what to do in the upper rpm range. THe engine runs on Toda Cs and 12.7:1 CR. I'll start with the ITR + JUN typeIII cams calibration for a base map. This base map should be OK. I expect to subtract a couple degrees in the upper range. Maybe more.

I found on the dyno that around 26 degrees timing at WOT until 9500 seemed to be the best on the car I did with almost the same setup. This was on 93 octane and in Texas heat, so... adjust accordingly. This is justr an example.
BTW, this car didnt have full exhaust, just a side exit header... i think my ears still hurt.

I tuned a ITR motor with ITB's and 370cc injectors (provided by TWM). Initial run was 170 and I got it to 185 just from tuning. If I remember right, it like timing around 30. The midrange increased a lot with more timing. WIth ITB's, it needs larger cams for sure (and this car needed better exhaust, header and test pipe and I think 195 would have been easy). This was on a dyno jet.
FYI, these are not fun to tune. It took 2.5 hours of dyno tuning and 22 runs if I remember right.
