I have it set at fixed duty cycle
55hz
At 18%
Some days it runs at 10 pounds, some days it runs at 15 pounds. Some days it hits boost cut set at 16. If I go to 19% the car goes to 30 pounds, if I go to 17% it goes to 8 pounds. It is very touchy! When there are extra people in the car it defiantly hits boost cut, but that is a given due to increased weight and resistance allowing it build more boost.
I have tried changing the frequency, but it doesn't like that. I have checked the way it is hooked up, everything according to the diagrams, I have checked wiring. WHERE TO GO NEXT?
I do have the wastegate dump re rooted into the down pipe, could this be too close? I am about to the point of ordering a 15 pound springs and dumping the boost controller.
Car is a 1998 Honda Civic LX sedan
00 B18B1
LS tranny
1000cc precision injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Tial 50mm bov
Tial 44mm waste gate
RC autoworks ram horn
3" stainless down pipe
Full 3" stainless exhaust with resonator and stealth muffler
50 trim 57 intake side 48 exhaust
Hondata boost controller
I have 15k miles on the set up beating the crap out of it at 12-15 pounds of boost. Best time is a 13.5 with full interior, completely stock looking car, hitting boost cut, and a street tune done by myself way too rich. The car runs good and is a sleeper.
