uk kpro problems

Post by ncoll »

Uk 2003 honda civic type r EP3 unmodified
KPRO, 38720-PRA-E11 ECU.
K Manager version 3.0.3
KPRO purchased from CPL in UK, approx march 2011

We can use the datalogger, but it dosen't register air fuel and knock due to a narrow band 02 sensor fitted to this model of car. Is it possible to wire into the KPRO an innovate LM1 so we can datalog and get the fuel ratio etc, when this is done, will we be able to adjust the fuel and the ignition from the data collected.

Wire your LM1 analog output to the ELD pin. See http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/in ... ttings.htm

it has been suggested to us, that if we replace our narrow band o2 sensor with a Bosch13706 wideband 4 pin o2 sensor, that this will work. Will this allow us to datalog and set the fuel up and ignition with the KPRO

Hi
we now have the PLX M300 TE, the question i wish to ask is, do we need to temporarily remove the green/red wire that is connected to the ELD pin at present, or can we leave it connected and connect the PLX M300 to that wire ?

What do you mean by temporarily remove the wire?

temporarily remove it from the plug while we are doing the datalogging and setting the vehicle up, then replace it back into the plug when the work is done. Or can we just solder a wire to the green/red wire that is coneected to the ELD pin to connect the PLX M300 wire while the datalogging etc is being done.

The ELD wire must be disconnected from the ELD when you are using the input for something else.
