It doesn't matter as long as it is the correct pin.

So finally recieved my CPR kit.
Connections at the distributor were easy.

My problem is finding the right wires from OBD0 in the OBD1 harness.
So heres how i went about it. I disconnected the ICM wire from the distributor end and disconnected all connections at the ecu.
I then used my multi meter to find continuity from the ecu to the wire ECM wire in the engine bay.
which is pin 22 in the conversion harness
So ICM i know is right.

I then checked for power in pin 25 no 12.0v in 25?? 26 does however have 12.0v so i used this for power.
PIN 23 does go to ground so i used pin 23.

Now for ALT SYNC, since this wire is used by the ecu for idle/loadcontrol, i went to the alternator unplugged it. According to my manual obd0 alternator, alt sync is white/yellow i then did continuity to the ecu to find the correct pin.
hooked up to ecu.

All connections made i followed the startup procedure. download with changes made to ecu.
IGNITION OK

NO SYNC

Thoughts??? Am i just having issues between OBD0 conversion Harness.
All connections are made on the conversion harness.

Am I missing something which prevents this solution? Ignore the OBDO adapter harness. Identify the pins on the OBDI ECU. De-pin / cut and connect to the CPR.
