Misfire on Cylinder nimber 3

Post by Dc5manuel »

I am having a misifre issue on cylinder 3 is not firing. I had a set of injector wires exposed and they were touching. I started my car and now cylinder 3 is not firing. I have replaced everything possible all that is left is kpro. I have replaced. Harness, inectors and clips, coils. I know the cylinder fires because i unclip one of the injectors and placed on the cylinder not firing and you could hear it start. Im running out of options and trying to eliminate buying krpo again. Anyone have any ideas? I alsochecked fuses and they were all good.

When you say it is not firing, are you saying it is not getting spark, or it is not spraying fuel?

I Have removed the clip from the injector of the cylinder not firing and plugged a clip that I knew fired and you could hear that cylinder fire. So im not to sure if its fuel or spark.

Check to see if it is fuel or spark using process of elimination, or pulll out the coild and plug and see if it is sparking. YOu cna also try the ECU on a known good vehicle and see if everythign runs properly.

I have experience this problem. . .you may have fired the injector driver on the number 3 inside the ecu.

like spunkster said, tried the ecu on another known vehicle
