I just purchased a 2010 RDX and I'm looking forward to the mod, I'm sending my ECM to you guys tomorrow and had two quick questions.
1. There is a lot of stuff floating around that says the car will run dangerously lean with all the standard bolt-on's in place, (intake, exhaust, catback exhaust) have you guys ever actually tested this besides the one that had the exhaust in place a couple of years back?
2. Rumor is that the injectors are almost at full cycle with the reflash and intake in place, did you guys happen to see that when you originally wrote the flash?
Thank you very much for your time.
RDX Reflash question
Re: RDX Reflash question
- Air fuel metering is determined by the intake. This must be correctly designed.
- The computer will automatically add fuel for any airflow improvements related to the exhaust.
- Yes, we tested the one intake available at the time with reflash and exhaust system. Air fuel ratio was fine.
- The injectors are fine for the boost and power levels we tested, including intake and exhaust.
