S300 usb connection

Maybe a stupid question but i must to ask

Im thinking leave the plug always connect to s300. For usb connection in s300 mainboard its better to leave always connect or plug in/plug out/plug in when i whant to do same change in ecu?

i buy usb cable a to b with 90degree connect and i can leave plug connect with ecu plastic trim on car and arrange somewhere to put usb for pc, and when i need only pull usb to connect PC.

As i said maybe a stupid question but i dont whant damage usb connector for s300
