Right speed and gear selection

Goodday,

I was wondering is there an easy option to get the right data in kmanager of the gear and speed?
My situation as follow,

i have a PRB ecu with kpro, i have a JDM DC5, imported to UK....there is a small converter which converts the dash speedo to MPH.

In kpro data i see gear is 2 but the gears is really in 4.
So i know this sensor is the problem, do i need to put in different gear ratios? or is there another easy way?

The ECU needs to see the speed signal directly from the speed sensor before it is bypassed.
