At 7 psi you would have a hard time smoking B-series swap depending how fast your turbo spools up. I know because I've been there. I'm at 10psi and smoked a few Rsx type S NA.

It spools up at 3-3500 rpm's.. It pulls nice but cuts off at 5k rpm's. It my first time boosting but I was told a tune would do the trick.

Save your money and keep your foot off the gas until you take it and get it tuned by a pro. I put in the s300 about 2 months ago, and (even tho I am not turbo) mine does the same. I've made a pretty good basemap for daily driving, but it loses power at high rpms...erico wrote:It spools up at 3-3500 rpm's.. It pulls nice but cuts off at 5k rpm's. Long story short: I now have to rebuild my motor bc it is screwed from trying to "streettune" it myself. Save that $400 and take it to a pro, and you are much better off....much better than spending over $400 to fix whatever breaks first and STILL NOT have a good tune. :(
Just some free advice that will save you money. I was also warned but I didn't listen. They are called BASE-maps for a reason: just to daily-drive it to the nearest pro-tuner. Please consider it?
