KPRO won't connect

Post by 925k20 »

-KPRO Board Serial #05005360
-KPRO Board #0208
-ECU part number #37820-PRB-A05 and serial number #2068-502733
-KManager version 3.0.3.0
-a datalog of a problem: N/A
-Vehicle: DC2
-Mods: k20z1, turbo, hondata boost solenoid, AEM Digital Boost & Wideband Gauges
-K-Pro Purchased: 3 years ago from Modacar

My KPRO when connected to my computer will stay offline and the thunder button won't highlight and let me connect to change settings. My computer recognizes when I connect the KPRO with the USB Connection sound played. I've had this KPRO for 3 years now and it has seen over 10 dyno tunes and has seen N/A, SC, and Turbo setups. I was last tuned by Daniel from Church's 1 month ago and the KPRO was working perfect until now. The car still runs and races fine. I just can't go on KPRO and change things like my Launch Control or Boost Control.

Let me know what you guys think is the issue.

What does it show up as in the Windows Device Manager when the USB is plugged in?

Sorry for the late response. I've been really busy at work and haven't had time to check but it pops up as: Ports (Com & LPT) and also a subfile: USB Serial Port (COM3)

I did and it still didn't work. I couldn't find the FTDI file on Add or Remove hardware that it asked me to uninstall. I only found the Hondata K-Manager and uninstalled it.
