h22a 450cc drag kit t3/t4 all stock internals

Post by squezin22 »

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a good basemap for my setup. I have searched but found nothing with similar injectors. Can anyone help me???
H22a all stock (low compression one 10.5 i think)
450cc
drag turbo kit

Looking to run about 5-7 psi. I believe the injectors max out at around 9psi with this turbo.
Had a local guy come out and "street tune" the car. Waste of money and time. Tune is garbage, car wont even idle when warm. Maps are all over the place. Just looking for a better start.

Thanks!

without a wideband, you need to go somewhere. Post the map you got (and a datalog if you have one) and I can see if I can do anything but this is not meant to be driven on...

I understand that. I plan on taking it somewhere but Im looking for something to get the car running a little better first. When I place the car in open loop it wont idle at times. I don't have any datalogs at the moment. If you dont mind taking a look at my map maybe you can see something.
Thanks

Made a couple small changes. Try messing with the overall fuel trim until you can get it to idle better. I bumped it up 5% but with the peak and hold injectors, it can require a bit more to get it to dead idle.

Let the car warm up and then try bumping it up 5% at a time until you can get it to idle well. I lowered the timing at idle in case that was causing the issue.

Play with it a little bit and let us know how it goes.
