Editing Indexes doesn't work properly.
On the CR-Z configuratons (at least the base one) it doesn work at all for any tables (it is greyed out).
On the Civic-R18-RNA-1 configuration, it works for Fuel and Ignition tables but only works for Knock Limit tables and not the others and doesn't work for Throttle tables.
Also noted that Throttle tables have only one row for Load where all the other tables have two (not a problem, just an observation and the software (right click action) assumes two rows).
What I am really trying to do is update the Load Indexes on the CR-Z Throttle tables to modify the maps.
Configuration Data:
- serial number of your FlashPro: FP-CRZ-US-70006
- FlashPro Manager version (not 'the latest'): 1.2.1.0 (also happens with 1.2.0.0)
- the calibration (as an attachment): CRZ-US-1.fpcal (default included with product)
- a datalog of a problem (as an attachment): N/A
- what sort of vehicle you have: CR-Z- what sort of ECU you are using: Stock CR-Z ECU
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc): Intake and Exhaust
- a specific description of the problem: Edit Index popup greyed out (bot Load and RPM).

This is not something that is currently available, but we may make changes to this at a later date.

OK, thanks for the response. I'm sure this isn't the most important change/fix that could be made.Spunkster wrote:This is not something that is currently available, but we may make changes to this at a later date.
FYI, the reason that I wanted it was twofold.
First, I don't like the agressive response on the Sport throttle and wanted it more like the Normal profile. The index points for Sport and Normal are not the same but Normal is flat enough that adjusting the Tplate values of the Sport profile gets it pretty close.
Second, I wanted to Economy to be like stock. The setting provided with the stock-like calibration is actually the same as Normal. From my analysis of the stock setup (from datalogs done with Hondata), it looks like the index points as well as Tplate values for Economy are different than Normal. So you can't quite get the same profile (mainly in the high end). But you can set the Tplate values to be something closer to stock Economy. I guess I'll have to live with that and it will probably be good enough.
Re: Editing Indexes Not Working
Editing indexes is not as easy as it sounds - every table which references the index must also be updated. We have not yet done this for the CRZ.
Throttle table indexes are not editable for liability reasons.
The economy throttle table uses a dynamic calculation to change the throttle plate.

Re: Editing Indexes Not Working
So are you saying the actual throttle response in Economy will be adjusted dynamicly from the Economy Throttle table (i.e., the Hondata stock tables will behave like the stock Economy)? That would be great! It just wasn't obvious. I didn't realize Honda was doing something clever with the Economy throttle control!Hondata wrote:...

Thanks.
