I have looked every where and cant seem to get real help on what I need to do. I live in colorado so its cold in the morning and when I start my car im hitting 9 afr at startup and have to give it gas for a few seconds to keep it going. After about 30 seconds my afr goes to normal. I tried doing -30 - +20 Post start fuel adjustment with no luck. My tune is fine its just cold start and its sucks cause I cant use my remote start when its cold because my car wont stay on lol. Here is my setup:
Ls/vtec
CAI
Header
stock exhaust
s300
b16 head (type-r valvetrain and cams)
b18a block (stock)
550 rc injectors
fuel rail
FPR
walbro fuel pump

no? do i need to pay $500 to dyno tune my car so that I can start it? lol
Re: Cold start over fueling please help
You could try adjsuting the fuel compensation numbers for when it is cold, but it probably really needs to be tuned first as that is the most likely cause of poor starting.
