hello, im new to tuning and hondata

hello, im new to tuning and hondata. ive been reading through posts and the help on smanager but im struggling to work a few things out for example will i be able to plug my p28 + s300 into any odb1 honda and be able to tune it from there? meaning when i get my ecu back in the next 2 days, will i be able to fit it to my current car running a pritty standerd D15b7 non vtec engine and get a grip of the basics? starting with what would seem the simpler stuff like shift light, LC and raised revv limmet with out having to tune down from a D16Z6 programed ecu? maybe easyer if i said will the hondata set it up for the d15 or will i have to place the map on it to start with? and where would i start if i have to do so?

Until you have tried to use the software it is impossible for me to say how easliy you will pick it up and learn how to use it.
