wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)

Iv searched this a few times and still i haven't really got a good idea on what way is best and what i need to do so some help would be awesome.

what inputs can i actually use and what actually has to be done?
for example to i need to actually remove r136 & r138 as it say's i may have to?



My ecu has had r138 removed already or it was never fitted?

Or should i use b6 and remove r3 and r2?

i have been having some issues wiring my wideband in too. I used the D10 (ELD) input and disabled it on the ECU but the car would not idle afterwards. I removed the wiring and reconnected the ELD wire and problem dissapeared.

Can any experts shed any light on why that would be?

I know in the guide it says that ELD should no longer be connected (i presumed by cutting that wire that it would by default no longer be connected), was that wrong? I have not removed R136/138 yet but that woudlnt affect the running of the car in this way would it?

Make sure you are actually disconnecting D10 and not some other wire.

it was definitely D10....Green and black if i recall on my ODB1 loom?

Don't go by wire color, go by pin position.

Right iv cut the d10 eld wire and conected my aem signal wire its seems to all work but i am not sure if my gauge is reading the same as the hondata but i cant find a chart to put the individual voltage references in... also i cant get the af chart/bar to read on the tuning dash?
sorry for all these dumb questions i am new to this software

i can upload pics if this helps and you recomend i cut the other resistor out?

Ok right now iv done all this.
how do i get the hondata to actualy display what my wideband is reading as in its not displaying a a/f reading it has the bar but just reads nine? cheers

Double click on AV in the sensor list and make sure you have it set to A/F and them se the display min to 10 and the display mas to 20.

I am about to wire in my AEM UEGO into my s300. From reading on about the install, I must put it in "closed loop" and disable the O2 heater. When I go to tune, do I need to take it out of closed loop, or does it stay in closed loop while tuning with the wideband installed?

Also, it looks that if I install the signal wire into the ELD, I do not need to cut out any resistors or modify the ECU in anyway. Is this correct?

When tuning you should put it in open loop.

You may still have to cut resistors when using the ELD input.

Analgue Input 2 (Pin B6) - is this just as good, which is what the help say vs what theTEch note says use ELD? Can Hondata staff please calrify this ambuguity? Really appreciate this from a customer perpsective
