Question! prelude ecu chip?

Post by Sk8PUNk/CKY »

Hey yall, i am pretty lost on understanding on wat chip would i use for my car. i dont have any force induction or nitrous. but i have exhaust and intake. but i want a chip that i can have my vtec kick in early and when it kicks in, it kicks in hard! and my throttle response is better. i was looking at apexi vtec controller. but hondata sounds like it would work better. i have a 98 Prelude type SH, pleez let me kno wat u would do or wat chip i should get. thank you

You can use a Hondata system, and will need to convert to one of the compatible OBD1 ecu's listed at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html

You can then use a Hondata s100 or s200 depending on what options you wnat or need. You need to also be aware that your ATTS will not longer be functional.
