Car only starts for a second and no upload option anymore

yep.. would be great if hondata let us know when to expect a new version. If more people can provide the list that is required for the posting guidelines, Hondata can rectify the problem even faster.

I've lost a lot of money getting mechanics to diagnose my car only for them to find no problems whatsoever mechanically. And buying parts that were suspected to be faulty in my car. Turns out it's just a software bug..

Yeah. That sucks. Same. Happens. To me. I just spend 250 on new injectors.. 180 on new coils spart plugs. All that money is away and never coming back. Why hondata don't fix this problem. Yet what they waiting for please help us

We are looking in to this, but it would be helpful if people followed the posting guidelines and gave us more than minimum amount of information (something more than "I'm have the same problem too"). What you may not realize is there are many hundreds of people using KManager V3.0.3 without any problems, so it is a matter of determining what is the common element amongst those having problems. Without an additional information, that is not possible.

I would love to give more information, however my ecu doesn't allow me to view the serial or anything due to the fact that it is now reading "Ignition OFF", when the key is in the II position. What other information can I provide to help rectify this issue?

I am having the same problem. Key is in the on position and in the kmanager is reading ignition off. WTF. My car would not start. I am getting really tired of all the problems with kpro. I regret I sold my aem to get kpro. Aem never had a software issue. I uninstall and reinstall kmanager v3.0.3 and I am having the same issue. This is my daily driver. We need help hondata.

Im having the same issue with a S2000 on 3.0.3

The information tab says its a PRA Euro R ECU

Would it be easiest to just send this Kpro in for a KproIII Upgrade? We have to have this car running asap.

Send a high quality and in focus picture of the inside of the ECU, including the K-Pro board to support <at> hondata.com.

Include a detailed description of the problem, where you purchased it from (name of person and shop name).

lemmiwinks, as you're probably worked out by now you do not have a Hondata product. The photo you sent is of a counterfeit KPro. More than likely, this is the cause of your problems.

It was purchased online through a local honda forum a few months ago.

I'm shocked! Did not know that fake kpro's actually existed! The counterfeit kpro and genuine kpro look pretty much identical in your comparison photo, the only difference I can see is the slight bumps in the pcb piece on the RHS.

Is there any other way I can confirm that it is indeed a fake?

It's been a month since this thread was started with more than a dozen people having issues with your program. It's time to fix it. Some people, like myself, use their car for daily driving. Which, per your website, is what kpro is perfect for. following the posting guidlines is a waste of our time because we ALL have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM and all you guys do is try to push the blame onto someone else.

i dont have a kpro guys but after reading this entire post with one member coming close to something i personally experience with an updated program for a genuine manufacture diagnostic tool.

the new updated program only worked on a laptop which was not running an I5 or I7 chip, and we got the same thing which you guys are getting, sometimes it connects most of the time it does not when it you push in the USB cable you hear the USB connection sound but NO communication with the vehicle.

well i just say all this to say maybe the guys at Hondata can also look into this.
