Any updates from Hondata?

Post by tu5j4 »

Version 1.1.8.5 has been around now for a while.
I was wondering if Hondata will release a new firmware version anytime soon with some extra features?
Nitrous control, lean fuel cutoff, flatshift spring to mind.

actually, i am wondering when Hondata is going to resolve the P1412 bug. 1.1.8.5 official release is available for download since May.

and i wonder how many Euro S customers have downloaded this release and got a P1412 CEL, messing up the engine performance (due to ECU retarding ignition for preventive protection) instead of enhancing, which is the very purpose of FlashPro :):):)

i really do not wish any new features but the buggy software to be corrected. it is clear that Hondata cares for USDM.

You're trolling. As previously stated, P1412 does not affect engine performance in any way. A release will be available shortly.

i prefer to be a trolling customer instead of P1412 having an impact on ECU program.

this is the first time i have ever heard P1412 does NOT affect performance. i checked previous P1412 threads:

could not find this info?

The P1412 code doesn't retard timing at all (atleast it certainly doesn't on mine), you can tell by just watching your ignition traces on datalogs. Also when the car goes into limp mode like if your knock sensor was damaged for example you can REALLY feel the drop in torque due to the retarded ignition timing.
