code 16 injector error

well to start i have read all the posts in the search function and where i have the same issues there fixes dont help me

little info on setup
94 civic hatchback
2001 Stock b18c1 running stock calibration from usdm p72
obd2b wiring harness dizzy and alternator swapped injector clips from obd2 to obd1
skunk 2 intake manifold
omni power 68 mm throttlebody
bdl fuel rail
aem fpr
hytec rep
hondata s300 installed in usdm p28
nx dry kit

So started the day by swapping the injector clips and installing a set of rc 310's saturated injectors pn sl2-310. After installation i got a code 16 fuel injector error car runs like crap and sounds like a subaru so i went into the misc and disabled injector error and reset ecu codes reset calibration still same problem. At this point i thought i had a bad set of injectors so i swapped them with a brand new set of rc 440's saturated injectors pn sl9-440 that i had purchased for my old supercharged setup still same problem,so went through normal procedure of checking wires all injector clips had continuity from clip to ecu no bare wires touching moved to spark plug wires and found that number 3 cylinder had no change when i removed plug so i changed out the spark plug and wire for a known good one off my buddys car still same problem. Started checking injector clips pulling them off one at a time and reinstalling same thing all fine except cylinder 3 which had no change so pinpointed the issue checked continuity again and then voltage no problems. I then reinstalled my old ecu and stock obd1 injectors and car ran perfect. at that point i reinstalled hondata with stock injectors problem is back and at this point i have no clue how to fix problem and car was supposed to be going in for a nitrous tune on fri so any help will be greatly appreciated

Try the ECU in a known good vehicle. If the probelm persists then the ECU is damaged and will have to be replaced.

i just had the same issue on my turboed h22a, i found the #4 injector had a open in the wire that went to the ecu. i have been chasing it for days. check your wiring to the clips on the power sides to the ecu. mine did exactly what urs did. hope this helps.
